If you have been following my blog lately, it’s no secret I’m obsessed with smoothies in the morning. And sometimes even mid-day. And maybe even post workout.
And if you’re like me, it’s a sad, sad day when you realize your trusty Oster Blender is about to crap out. Trust me: the base heats up and it sounds like I’m starting up a lawn mower these days. My poor puppies get very concerned.
My Oster Blender was never exactly the best quality anyway, but it lived a good 5+ years and made a mean margarita back in the day. But don’t even think about putting an apple in this baby!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still planning on using it tomorrow morning, and the next few, but I’m starting to mentally (and financially) prepare for my next blender purchase.
Of course, the Vitamix is the first thing that comes to mind, but is it really worth the hefty price tag? I’m hoping there are other quality blenders out there that are a little more affordable.
